Hope Day

Hope Day Network is a faith-based, non-profit organization recognizing that many communities in the New York/New Jersey Metro area have great needs and are faced with great challenges.

Our Vision – is for every community to experience Hope.
Our Mission – is to empower churches to reach, engage, serve and change the lives of people in their communities.
Our Approach – is to create a compassionate community outreach event we call Hope Day – one day filled with hope across multiple New York/New Jersey Metro area communities on the first Saturday in June.

Churches are using Hope Day to partner with city officials and local community leaders, businesses, agencies, community services & health organizations who believe in building strong communities to utilize available resources in the most effective ways to extend hope.

In the last 6 years, we’ve mobilized over 13,000 volunteers, and partnered with Convoy of Hope and over 600 organizations, to launch Hope Day annually. On Hope Day, guests receive free groceries, medical and dental screenings, community & job services, hot lunches, family portraits. We have music, games and activities for children, and much more!
